Naptime

Cats choose odd spots for naps. Although maybe if you're a cat, napping on the roof doesn't seem strange. No dogs sticking their wet noses in your ear. No geese tweeking your tail. Nothing to worry about except a little rain . . . and hey, with a fur coat like that, it takes a while for the wet to penetrate.

And I suppose getting up there is no problem for the cat either.

Good thing it's not a tin roof.

I'd be willing to bet that the bricks of that chimney hold some warmth. Good spot to cuddle up to if your days are still as cool as most of ours have been.

my cat jessie loves to do that. it is also her way of getting inside when she isn't allowed. "the cat is on the roof again?!? aww, someone go open a window." she can't get down with out help. once she lured a chicken onto the roof too.
